Hi, I’m April. I’m so glad you’re here.

Heritage & Heart Learning grew out of something very familiar to me: homeschooling around the kitchen table, looking for resources that were meaningful, beautiful, and actually useful.

I’ve been a homeschool mom for a long time. I homeschooled my twins from 6th grade through graduation, and they went on to earn their associate degrees before receiving their high school diplomas. Now, years later, I’m homeschooling my youngest daughter, who has learned at home from the very beginning.

So I know homeschool life.

I know the wonderful days when everything clicks, the days when nothing goes according to plan, and all the ordinary moments in between. And through it all, I’ve come to believe that some of the most important learning happens in those simple, everyday moments together.

That’s the heart behind Heritage & Heart Learning.

I create resources I would want to use in my own home — books and printables that help children learn, practice new skills, grow in confidence, and, whenever possible, connect learning with Scripture, character, and faith.

You’ll find Scripture-based handwriting and coloring books here, along with writing and activity books, homeschool resources, printables, journals, planners, and more. Some are created especially for children, and others are made to encourage the moms who are pouring so much into their families every day.

Nothing here is about creating a picture-perfect homeschool.

It’s about making learning a little more meaningful, a little more manageable, and hopefully a little more joyful.
